Overview:

The Fuels Clerk is responsible reports regarding quantity and value of fuel and performs services to include:
  • Responsible for filing of fuel related documents
  • Witnesses receipt of fuel oil by company tank personnel to verify oil-gaging report
  • Assist in the fuel accounting process
  • Verifies computation of gross and net barrel of oil received
  • Computes quantity of fuel oil burned
  • Post computation and other related data to fuel-oil ledgers and records and compares data with contract specification and delivery documents to detect error and verify accuracy of entries
  • Notify supervisor when discrepancies and errors cannot be resolved
  • Prepared receipts of fuel received
  • Ensures that safety standards and regulations are observed
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid driver’s license is required.
A minimum of two years combined experience working with any of the following is required: fuels, plumbing, pumps, hoses and valves. Mechanical or technical experience related to small engine repair, auto repair, wild land fire fighting, irrigation or farming work, golf course maintenance, snow making, or any discipline in engineering can also be considered as qualifying.
Must be willing and able to lift and move items, parts, assemblies and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum.
Must be willing and able to perform physical activities including heavy lifting, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors.

Clearance Requirement: GIROA citizenship required and must successfully complete RSO vetting.*
