Responsibilities:
Perform manual, technical, and mechanically assisted duties involved with the production, storage, receipt, shipment, inspection, maintenance, or testing of explosive ordnance items or components.  Follow Materials Safety Data Sheet guidelines for handling, storage, and disposal of Hazardous Materials. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Under Leader/Crafts direct supervision, perform warehousing duties involving stock movement into or out of storage facilities.  Applicant will be responsible for warehouse arrangement, accessibility, safety, and housekeeping, in accordance with appropriate operating procedures.  Applicant may perform cycle counts for audit purposes. 2. Under Leader/Crafts direct supervision, disassemble, assemble, clean, repair, rework, inspect, test, load, package, move, or mark any ordnance items or components.  Operate mobile equipment such as MHE, vehicles for transporting personnel, tools, equipment, ammunition components, or machines used in the manufacture and LAP of munitions such as chemical stripping vats, stress relief ovens, grit blast machines, spray paint and electrostatic paint systems, melt kettles, hydraulic presses, overhead hoists, etc. 3. Follow Standing Operating Procedures; OSHA and Departments of Defense and Transportation regulations, housekeeping, and general condition of production and storage facilities. 4. Must satisfactorily complete the Training and Certification Program for Personnel Working in Ammunition Operations required by AMC Regulation 350-4 within 90 days of hire.  Maintaining current certification is a condition of continued employment. 5. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State of Nevada drivers license unless physically unqualified to obtain such a license. 6. Must satisfactorily complete all training required IAW AMC 350-4 7. Must be at least 18 years of age 8. Responsible for reporting potential real environmental concerns to the Environmental Service. 9. Maintain a clean, secure and safe work area to include but not limited to pulling weeds, emptying trash and cleaning restrooms in or around explosive operations buildings. 10. Perform other duties of the same or lower level of difficulty as assigned.  May be assigned occasional duties of a higher level of difficulty than those listed above.  The duties of this classification may overlap duties performed by employees in other classifications. All munitions handlers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production/storage. 11. Show awareness and support of the Company Ethics Program. 12. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate Security Clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC). 13. Must be able to use a computer and/or other technology related to the performance of duties.
 
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:  High school or equivalent. EXPERIENCE:  No prior experience necessary.
Must have valid drivers license.
