This position is located in the United Kingdom. Expatriation services are provided for the employee and eligible dependents as applicable. The listed rate range is not inclusive of additional compensation provided for international assignments. Lockheed Martin internal candidates for this position will retain their benefit program if they are currently participating in the LMOS, LMES, or Corporate benefit programs. New Hire and Rehire candidates for this position will be offered the LMOS benefit program. FSLS OCONUS has an overseas assignment for a ESH Engineer in North Yorkshire England with period of performance through 2017. The candidate will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Safety, Health,& Environmental programs. Responsibilities will include but not limited to driving ESH Culture within the program and assuring full compliance with all applicable ESH requirements. Responsible for the development of a Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) Management System to meet customer requirements. Specifically, will be responsible with assisting with generating ESH program documents, developing and delivering the contractual data deliverables, collecting and presenting ESH metrics, supporting organizational safety initiatives, assist in developing safety training materials. May help manage the close call data base, develop EESH initiatives and assist with rolling them out to the employees. May also be responsible for performing inspections, performing ergonomic assessments, helping managers to perform job safety analyses of new jobs, conducting EESH program assessments, performing mishap investigations, managing EESH corrective action system, conducting new hire orientation and ESH training, and ensuring the proper documentation of OSHA recordables and mishaps.

Basic Qualifications
Three or more years of experience with U.S. OSHA, Excellent communication skills, Strong self-discipline with ability to solve problems with little supervision, Ability to analyze and interpret technical regulations, and communicate issues, regulatory requirements and ESH plans effectively at all levels of the organization, Microsoft Office proficiency and demonstrated oral and written presentation skills.

Desired skills
Knowledge of United Kingdom Environmental and safety regulations is a plus.
