Title: Electronics Technician Associate
Location: AFGHANISTAN-KANDAHAR-KANDAHAR

Essential Job Functions
* Performs moderately complex technical functions such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment to support engineering activities.
* Performs tests and diagnoses of systems, production processes, controls, test procedures, instruments, equipment, products or product performance to validate, investigate and resolve matters of significance.
* Conducts engineering/development tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in general research work.
* Constructs, monitors, adjusts, calibrates, maintains and/or repairs equipment, instruments and fixtures.
* Prepares materials, components and assemblies for evaluation and recommends modifications as needed.
* Writes or interprets engineering change orders, blueprints, diagrams, sketches photographs or other process and product documentation as they relate to assigned duties. Prepares reports, charts and graphs for scientific or engineering personnel to use in making decisions on design or experiment development.
* Assists in the development of process control manuals/documentation for repairing, calibrating and maintaining equipment and systems.
* Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
* High school diploma or G.E.D.
* Three or more years of electronics experience
* Experience working with electronics
* Experience working with personal computers and relevant operating systems
* Experience working with test equipment such as tube testers, signal generators, ohm meters, and special electronics equipment
* Experience working with basic digital and analog theory
