Title: Warehouse Associate Professional
Location: AFGHANISTAN-BAGRAM

Essential Job Functions
* Oversees order fulfillment and warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, stocking, storing and inventory of materials to ensure that company warehousing needs are met. Recommends, develops and revises company shipping requirements and specifications taking into consideration government regulations regarding mode of shipment or other specifications.
* Analyzes logs and other documents to identify trends and issues in relation to order fulfillment. Recommends different processes or changes.
* Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
* Creates, prepares, maintains and distributes various inventory and/or shipping reports for management review; recommends changes based upon report information. Authorizes and/or rejects shipments and resolves discrepancies involved in inventory activities; ensures data are being accurately reported and resolves discrepancies and ensures activities required to effectively manage inventory are performed in an efficient and cost effective manner.
* Creates, prepares and analyzes inventory reports of slow moving (non productive) and/or surplus stock to return and/or discard excess inventory and ensure efficient use of warehouse space. Recommends changes or alternative courses of action.
* Oversees the interaction with business unit personnel, courier services, vendors and other relevant parties to ensure accurate delivery and pick-up of shipments. Acts as the company point of contact with the services; identifies, recommends course of action and resolves issues.
* Analyzes data and process for entering information into transportation software; ensures transactions are recorded accurately. Identifies trends or issues and develops and recommends process or software changes.
* Acts as the point of contact for internal staff. Communicates with management regarding the status of equipment and supply manifests. Monitors and responds to concerns from various parties regarding service needs. Identifies when intervention is necessary and establishes method for and oversees the expedition of shipments as appropriate.


Basic Qualifications
* Associates Degree or Higher
* Five or more years of experience in warehousing
* Experience working with shipping and receiving policies
* Experience working with domestic and international shipping/freight regulations and procedures
* Experience working with logistical operations
* Experience working with financial and service delivery systems

Other Qualifications
* Communication skills to communicate with business unit personnel, staff and management
* Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Personal computer and business solution software skills for maintaining, tracking and routing inventory
* Organizational and planning skills to balance and prioritize work
* Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
