Job Description :
Position is in located in Baghdad Iraq; C-130J Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) specialist responsible to the program manager for supervision and training. This position is for a highly motivated person to conduct Formal Maintenance Training on the C-130J aircraft; owned by the Iraqi Air Force (IqAF). As a member of this training team, you will share your knowledge and expertise, which will be instrumental to the IqAF’s ability to become a self-sufficient Air Force. In addition to Classroom Training, you will also be conducting Lab and On-the-Job Training (OJT) in the repair, replacement and service of powered and non-powered AGE and in the performance of preventive maintenance; preparing, revising and modify training material to meet the needs of the IqAF; maintain, monitor and supervise training records. The C-130J training you will be conducting will include physical, mental skills and knowledge of objectives in areas of the assembly, operation, service repair and modification of the ground support equipment with possibility of additional training... Coordinate and communicate with the USG and IqAF Leadership and personnel. Prepare reports, briefings and other documents in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years Aerospace Ground support Equipment systems experience on powered and non-powered aircraft AGE - Must have a minimum of 5 years as Structural Repair tecchnician on C-130 aircraft preferably on the J Model - Must have experience in HVAC - Must have a craftsman level in a like position, system, and specialty on AGE - Must have a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of AGE mechanical component troubleshooting and/or repair procedures and replacement of components, and a thorough knowledge of AGE systems. - Must have previous Instructor experience - Must be craftsman level in a like position, system, and specialty on C-130J -Must have knowledge and experience in training records
Desired skills
Previous International instructor - Seven years of relevant experience in C-130 AGE -Must have USAF 7-skill level or equivalent (for example, Navy CDQAR). -Must be able to apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals. - Ability to coordinate and communicate with US and Iraq Air Force leadership and personnel - Experience in supervising training in an FMS environment as a manager and/or instructor - Experience working in a Security Level 5 country such as Iraq and/or Afghanistan - Bachelor’s degree
