Job Summary:
 
Logistics Analyst will support the logistical requirements of the Mobile Training Cadres, as well as assist the government and contract employees with any logistical requirements related to C-IED training.

Logistics Analyst will research, plan, execute, and thoroughly document all procurements for CIED related equipment and supplies, operationally supporting the Training Cadres.
Logistics Analyst will enable training cadres to train offsite by researching, planning and executing complex shipments of CIED training related supplies to offsite training venues.
Logistics Analyst will conduct training event coordination for supplies and services at offsite training venues to ensure training occurs on schedule.
Logistics Analyst will provide support, and administration for Government Furnished Property accounts and property record management.
Logistics Analyst will properly receipt for incoming shipments, ensuring that property is properly tracked and accounted for.
Logistics Analyst will track expenditures and generate fiscal reports relating to the contract.
Logistics Analyst will be required to keep the Program Manager informed concerning outstanding procurements, scheduled training support, current fiscal posture, and any issues relating to the fulfillment of the contract.


Summary of essential job functions:
Exercise/training event planning and forecasting requirements
Manage contract fiscal records
Manage contract procurements
Generate monthly contract expenditure reports
Manage shipments of mission essential materials

Minimum requirements: Bachelors Degree and at least 6 years of experience with DoD supply systems or contracting. Experience with the USMC preferred.

Capabilities/qualities required:
Candidate must have an extensive knowledge of Marine Corps, DoD, and GSA supply systems.
Must have a working knowledge of DoD financial management practices.
Must possess a working knowledge of DoD Contracting processes.
Must possess a basic knowledge of Marine Corps ground equipment and property records
Must have a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
