Principal place(s) of work will be Kabul with frequent travel between various Olive Group ACA Project locations i.e. Herat, Kandahar and Mazar a Sherif Airport facilities.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Minimum experience of 5 years in a technical aviation or point of entry field service environment ideally in a GCC country.
Demonstrated experience on the installation, commissioning, maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting on at least 2 of the major security screening vendors equipment i.e. Smiths Detection, Rapiscan, L3 Communications
Demonstrated experience on the maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting on trace and throughput metal detection equipment
Ability to complete hard copy and soft copy Equipment Availability and Service Reporting before, during and after Service Jobs and operate, update and manage Service Software Support.
Ability to provide knowledge transfer, technical mentoring and training on security screening or checkpoint screening products.
Clean, smart and presentable with good customer facing skills.
A Team player with the ability to work unsupervised.
‘Hands On’ field service approach, flexible and willing to assist ‘on the ground’.
To have a positive and practical approach to problem solving and a willingness to learn new skills as required.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Adaptable and durable to work at heights and often in extreme weather conditions without supervision.
Good degree of IT Literacy with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint as a minimum.

Primary Role:
To provide full service and support capability to the OG ACA Project Team in relation to security screening systems at the 4 Airports, related Checkpoints and/or areas identified where the equipment is being used for and by the Project, on a 24/7 basis.

Secondary Roles and Responsibilities:
Advise the OG Logistics Team on the procurement of all Parts and Service consumables for the allotted security screening equipment’s.
Work with the OG ACA Team to manage, when in country, all Parts and Service consumables for the allotted security screening equipment’s.
Provide all and any required advice and guidance to OG ACA Project Team, Operational End Users and those working in and around the equipment’s, on the safe use, basic equipment husbandry and care of ownership of the equipment’s.
Provide any planned and agreed technical mentoring programs or similar, for security screening equipment’s, for OG ACA Resources.
Provide the OG ACA Project Team with programs on planned preventative maintenance for the security screening systems in a timely manner including liaison for Life Support to/from OG ACA Base and Project locations.
Manage the technical service interface between the OG ACA Team and any OEM.
Manage the HSE inc Clothing, Tools and Test Equipment.
Undertake any additional service tasks assigned to them by their Line Manager as may reasonably be expected.
Perform any other reasonable related task, activity or function requested by the Line Manager in relation to supporting Restrata Service & Support.
