Duties
Develop project schedule
- Work with project Managers & Engineering personnel to gather project schedule requirements, dependencies and activities and incorporate individual project schedules into the master schedule
- Design or implement WBS meeting client requirements
- Provide information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule
- Consult the appropriate project team members as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work
- Development of the baseline schedule
- Incorporate Resource and/or Cost data into schedules as required
- Contribute to the development of working schedules, prior to proposal date, which sufficiently illustrate the sequence of work activities and contract time
- Prepare and issue proposal and preliminary schedule
- Overseeing all project scheduling activities
- Verifying that the updates are an accurate representation of the work accomplished
- Analysing "look ahead" schedules for potential problems or delays
- Evaluate actual progress and provide regular schedule updates
- Maintain master schedule for each project and identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled
- Continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity
- Effective communicator to be able to work with Managers & Engineering personnel
- Working knowledge of computer scheduling programs, minimum requirement Microsoft Project, Primavera P6.
- Knowledge of resource loaded networks
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Field experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, skilled in dealing with people
- Sound knowledge of schedule systems, principles and practices required
- Understanding PM principiles (PMBOK, Prince2)
- Strong analytical skills
- Continually adapt and modify processes, style and approach in a dynamic environment.
