Position Summary:
The Deputy Project Manager – Facilities and Support (DPMFS) assists the Project Manager (PM) in overseeing operations and maintenance, housing compound, project planning and management, communication, quality assessment, facility function, technology integration, and management of human and environmental factors. Tasks within these broad categories may include space and workplace planning, budgeting, leases management, renovations, or facility planning and design. The DPMFS is
responsible to the Aegis Local Program Manager (LPM) located in Mclean, VA.
Essential Functions:
•Responsible for directing staff, including maintenance, grounds, and custodial workers
•Management of contractor behavior whether on task, training or any other time
•Planning and managing sustainment training to address changes in the operating environment and to maintain skills
•Regular inspection of facilities, housing and other areas in which personnel operate
•Supervise the accountability, operating conditions, maintenance, and services of all equipment
•Management of all aspects of life support for the contractor work force provided by Aegis and coordination of any life support provided by the Client

Crucial Requirements and Abilities:
•The contract requires you to be a U.S. Citizen - must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
•Accredited Bachelor’s Degree ( http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/) in one of the following disciplines - engineering, architecture, construction management, business administration, or facility management
•Must have eight (8) years of specialized experience, of which five (5) years must be in management or a supervisory role
•English language proficiency (minimum of Level III)
•Obtain and maintain weapons qualifications
•Must successfully pass all required courses specified by the client

•Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time
