Summary:
The Supply Management Instructor in the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia shall teach On the Job Training to foreign military students to elevate them from 3-level to 5-level. Classroom and practical instruction will be required, as well as administering Career Development Courses and Field Training Detachment courses as required. Personnel performing this work should have an understanding of Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 23-110, USAF Supply Manual, Volume 2, Part II, and the AF supply system operation. Performs other duties as assigned.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform On-the-Job Training (OJT), administer Career Development Courses as required, and teach Field Training Detachment courses as required to upgrade RSAF 3-level technicians to 5-level technicians, 5-level to 7-level and perform other related duties as assigned.
- The upgrade training will require hands-on demonstration as required for core and workcenter tasks in the Career Field Education and Training Plan (CFETP).
- Research, requisition, and initiate follow-up procedures on parts requests within their control.
- Order items through the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) or other local supply system.
- Track and update Facilitate Other Maintenance (FOM) bins for accuracy and storage.
- Maintain Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) items IAW AFI 32-70XX-series instructions and Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 90-8 or other local guidance.
- Monitor and issue items from the Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or local bench stock account(s) located within their section and recommend changes to the supply authority.
- Comply with the Scrap Metal/Precious Metal Programs IAW TO 00-25-113 and process scrap metal turn-ins IAW AFMAN 23-110.
Required educational/skills background:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in Supply duties
- Prior Support Section experience highly desirable.
