Overview:
BRTRC Federal Solutions is looking for an Automated Logistics Specialist. This position is located OCONUS in Afghanistan.
The
individual supporting this role will perform physical and clerical
duties in requisitioning, receiving, issuance, turn-in and shipping of
material in support of maintenance operations in a forward deployed
location. The successful candidate will be required to pass medical
screenings, pre-deployment training, obtain a DoD Security Clearance,
and be able to wear body armor.
Responsibilities:
- Open all Work Orders within Maintenance Activity and conduct Daily SAMS-1E Processes.
- Requisition of all supplies needed for Maintenance Work Orders utilizing SAMS-1E.
- Pick up, receive, process and issue supplies received from Supply Support Activity (SSA).
- Maintain accountability of Bench Stock and Shop Stock Supplies.
- Package and ship material to other locations as required.
- Maintain all SAMS-1E Records such as Open Document Control Register and conduct Supply Support Activity Reconciliations as required.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
- Standard Army Maintenance Management System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) Certification
- Minimum 8 years of related experience
- Knowledgeable with STAMIS and SAMS-E Procedures
- Ability to successfully pass a background investigation and obtain and/or maintain a DoD Security Clearance and a Common Access card (CAC)
- Familiarization with Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A)
