DS2 is looking for a qualified professional Medical Assistant to join our customer site at our site in Glynco, GA on a PRN/Casual basis. The health unit is open Monday through Friday and closed all Federal Holidays.
Must have a unrestricted drivers license and a clean driving record.

Individual would be required to work under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager, Physician and the Program Manager.

Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Certified/Licensed as a CMA/CMT with six (6) months experience and current CPR/AED and properly trained to perform venipuncture in accordance with state requirements.

Tasks: Provides administrative assistance and performs technical tasks at the SPS to include but not limited to vital signs (temp., pulse, respiration, & blood pressure), first aid, CPR, EKGs, and venipuncture. Enters all services provided into the FOHS MIS. Also drives Government furnished Van to take patients and clients to medical facilities in the local community. Driving distance less than 100 miles each direction.

Successful candidate must have a unrestricted drivers license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications:
Certified/Licensed CMA/CMT
Six (6) months experience working as a CMA/CMT
Current CPR/AED
Venipuncture experience
Basic Customer Service skills
Basic computer skills
Unrestricted Drivers License with clean driving record
