SOS International LLC (SOSi) is looking for experienced Firefighters to perform Fire Protection Services at multiple locations in Iraq.
Essential Job Duties:
• Performs structural firefighting duties for a variety of facilities, which may include large multi- storied buildings, industrial areas, and/or base storage facilities
• Maintains firefighting equipment and fire station facilities
• Performs Fire Prevention/Suppression/Protection Services and Activities
• Drives and operates firefighting vehicles, such as pumpers, aerial ladder trucks, and Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles
• Performs basic first aid and First Responder duties as a part of basic life support initial response
• Performs crash-rescue and firefighting duties involving air traffic or support operations
• Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures
• Performs hazard and risk assessment and conducts a complete incident analysis

Minimum Requirements
• Candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and meet basic Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) standards• 3+years of working in Fire and Emergency Services in the Middle East and/or Central Asia, in places such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Djibouti, Kuwait, Bahrain and others
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Current valid US driver’s license
• Must have NFPA or other commercial firefighter equivalent certification for the following certification levels:
1. Firefighter I and/or II level certification
2. Apparatus Driver/Operator for Pumper and ARFF vehicles, Aerials/Tillers
3. Airport Firefighter
• Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations Knowledge
• Current CPR card (American Heart or Red Cross); must have experience in and be trained and/or certified in the performance of basic emergency medical technician (EMT) duties
Additional Information
• Position is located in Iraq.
• Position will work shifts as required to support firefighting requirements on a 24/7 basis
