This position will require the Facility Security Officer/CSSO/CPSO to manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program, and Sensitive Compartmented Information ensuring the requirements of the NISPOM, NISPOM Sup/JAFAN and DCID- ICD’s are implemented to prevent unauthorized disclosure of classified information.

Required Education:Bachelors and 12+ year(s) related experienceRequired Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement, Business Management or similar field or have had equivalent work related experience.Required Skills:•Manages all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Ensuring National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) compliance within the Arlington, VA BAE Facility. (FSO) •Manages all aspects for Sensitive Compartmented Information Programs. (CSSO) Manages all aspect for NISPOM Sup, Department of Defense Overprint and JAFAN Programs (CPSO) •Interprets policy, develops and implements security plans and procedures. •Investigating and reporting security violations/adverse information reports with the cognizant government agency. •Conduct general and program specific briefings. •Responsible for the development with and compliance of Security Practice and Procedures (SPP) •Participation in the development and execution of security education programs. Responsible for Security reviews to include: Defense Security Service visits and formal self inspections overseeing implementation/completion of corrective action plans. Develops and implements improved methods of inspections, audits, and analysis of security functions to determine performance and cost effectiveness. •Knowledgeable on International requirements to include: Foreign Visitor requirements, and Export compliance. •Assist with Chapter 8 (Information Technology Security) requirements to include: development, approval and review of Automated Information Systems. •Participate with the local Crisis Management Team. •Along with the Asset Protection Manager, establishes and maintains physical security systems, plant protection, contingency plans and emergency response.
