Protection Strategies Inc. is looking for an independent contractor with good mechanical skills and knowledge in the repair and maintenance of gasoline/diesel engines, hydraulic operating systems, deep-cycle battery recharging systems (RV type), general automotive electrical systems, and auto chassis repair. A background in general welding of mild steels is necessary. Applicant must be willing to travel on military aircraft to a series of work sites located throughout the Middle East. Applicant must be able to prepare daily reports using Microsoft Word. Applicant will be working a majority of the time on their own, and will need to report to US Air Force personnel at all work sites.

Responsibilities include:
•Complete scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance on force protection equipment throughout the Middle East.
•Create and submit daily work order reports and work order logs.
•Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Requirements:
•Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance, prefer Current Secret Clearance
•Experience welding mild steels.
•Be able to respond to and complete unscheduled/emergency repair requests quickly.
•Proficient user of MicroSoft Word and Excel
•5+ years of mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
