Equipment Maintenance Helper Overseas - Afghanistan

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN AFGHANISTAN

Assist mechanics in maintaining and / or retrograding tactical military equipment. Assist one or more journeyman level workers by performing specific or general duties of a lesser skill of the trade. These duties may include, but are not limited to; wire wheeling, grinding, drilling, masking, stenciling, maintaining equipment and other task as may be directed by the supervisor. Supplies equipment, material and tools. Assist with the disposing of hazardous materials. Actively applies knowledge gained from previous work assignments. Additional ancillary duties as assigned. Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* HS diploma or equivalent.
* Four (4) years directly related experience.
* Must not present a direct threat to the safety and health of the workers or others.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds unaided.
* US Citizen. Proof required.
* Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
* Valid state Motor Vehicle Operator License with clean MVR.
* Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* Persons with active duty military experience in a related field will be given preference.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
* It is mandatory that employees live on base, aboard a military installation.
* Must be willing and able to travel (military airlift) and work in other countries in the region of the Middle East.
* In addition to meeting Honeywell employment requirements, the United States Marine Corps has minimal standards of fitness for deployment. Your continued employment is contingent upon your being approved for deployment by the United States Marine Corps, in accordance with their policies and regulations.
* Must be willing and able to work in extreme temperatures.
* This position has a duration of approximately 6 months, which is subject to change based on customer needs.
