Description
Key Role: WBB is seeking a War Gaming Subject Matter Expert to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation’s (CAPE) Simulation Analysis Center (SAC). The SAC is responsible for performing capability, weapons system, force structure and readiness analyses and assessments of joint, mission and theater-level military. The individual filling this position would provide subject matter expertise while collecting and interpreting data, assisting other SAC analysts in the development of valid operational insights in ongoing analyses, and participating in SAC war games.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access (TS/SCI).
* Bachelor’s degree.
* A minimum of 7 years of experience in military analyses.
* Capability to effectively collect and interpret data, assist other SAC analysts in the development of valid operational insights in ongoing analyses, provide operational perspective in support of SAC war games, and provide inputs into studies and study reports as needed.
* Must have an overarching knowledge of military and war gaming tactics and procedures.
* Ability to perform war gaming development, adjudication, and facilitation.
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced and continually evolving operational environment.
* Strong communication skills (listening, writing and briefing).
* Experience developing and presenting briefs to senior personnel.
* Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Additional Qualifications:
* OSD CAPE experience a plus.
* Bachelor’s or Masters of Science degree in Operations Research (MSOR) or a scientific, technical, engineering or mathematics (STEM) substitute is highly desired.
