Position: 3 x Regional Security Managers Locations: EMEA – Based from Rotterdam, Netherlands Asia Pacific – Based from Singapore US – Based from Baltimore

Role Overview
Responsible for the effective management and control of security operations, for all premises and logistics operations across the respective regions.

Role description
The role will report to the Global Security and Operations Manager (“GSOM”) in the UK, and will be expected to work closely with, and support, the Local Regional General Manager (“RGM”) in ensuring the safety and security of the clients warehousing and logistics operations, including those operations managed by third parties within the region.

Functions will include, but are not limited to:
• Design, develop and audit security procedures across all operations, including those managed by third parties.
• Undertake physical security threat and risk assessments, including site surveys of new and existing facilities, and reporting back to the GSOM and RGM of your recommendations to effectively manage the risks.
• Work with security system vendors to design and develop physical security solutions to help mitigate all
security risks and meet the required standards for ensuring the safety and security of the warehouse and office facilities.
• Project manage the successful installation and commissioning of permanent and temporary security solutions within budget.
• Manage the ongoing maintenance and testing of security systems across all locations.
• Develop and maintain strong and professional relationships with key security system/service vendors and contractors.
• Closely manage the performance of security system/service vendors and contractors to ensure that there is no risk to the integrity of the security controls framework.
• Work with the GSOM and any appropriate third parties to review and develop Group Security standards.
• Create and maintain auditable records of security activity and actions.
• Create and manage reports to the GSOM and other management in relation to security activity and control.
• Assist with investigations into security related incidents and ensure appropriate and adequate follow-ups, including corrective actions and improvements, are undertaken.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven ability to understand and analyse security risks and exposures and have a confident and working knowledge and understanding of how to manage such risks effectively
• Influential communicator, particularly when dealing with third party warehouse operators and third party security providers
• High standard of communication skills, both written and verbal, both internally and externally and at all levels of management.
• Good understanding of current and developing security technology and standards; including intruder prevention and alarm systems, access control, and CCTV systems requirements, installation and operation.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office. Training will be provided on bespoke security systems as required.
• Strong administrative, budget management and organisational skills.
• Previous experience in a similar security management position essential.
• Must be a confident communicator in the following languages: English/ Dutch/ Mandarin respectively for each position

This role may require international travel and occasional work out of normal working hours or on call arrangements
