Ship Security Specialists / P&O Australia P&O Australia is seeking applications from Security Personnel to work on board their fleet of ships operating in the pacific waters out of Australia and New Zealand.
P&O Operate a fleet of four Luxury Liners in the South Pacific and to assist in ensuring that
guests have a great time the Security team
takes on the role of looking after the vessels
security needs.
Safety is paramount on all P&O vessels for both Crew and Guests and the Shipboard security team looks after the needs of the younger passengers as well by maintaining the Strict alcohol regulations and curfews for minors.
Part of the role is to assist in the embarking and disembarking of passengers, Maintaining a visual presence on the gangway during port
operations and conducting searches of crew and guests when necessary by using the security equipment provided.
In today's environment of high security all
baggage has to be screened for a range of
threats and the Shipboard Security team has a
range of detection equipment to facilitate this.
As well as threat detection the shipboard
security teams also routinely check for Drugs
and stowaways as well as contraband.
