•The Protective Security Specialist (PSS) � Protective Security Detachment - Team Medic (PSD- M) shall serve as armed driver and personal protective security specialist and perform the day-to -day protective security functions as specified in PSD assignment orders.
•The PSD-M shall be prepared to serve as the advanced first-responder /trauma medical technician to treat and provide immediate emergency care of Team and Government personnel.
•The PSD-M shall be prepared to coordinate and deploy into a high-threat environment with the PSD Team to an undisclosed location for a typical deployment of 60 � 90 days. Upon completion of the mission deployment the PSD-M shall have a paid rest and break in deployed-service period of at least 30 days.
