Description
The Analyst will work in the Global Logistics & Operational Support organization performing Spares analysis and order processing as required, including Development, Production, and Sustainment activities. The primary responsibility of this position will focus on the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
The Analyst ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives; ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions; builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
The Analyst will utilize tools such as SAP, and will document all results in product data deliverables. Verbal, writing, presentation, and leadership skills are essential. Position responsibilities include direct interface with customer, travel and ability to multitask.
In addition to Supply Support and Provisioning tasks, the candidate may be required to support DMSMS contractual requirements to include the development and maintenance of the DMSMS Bill of Material and screening for obsolescence through supplier surveys, supplier reports, and Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) alerts.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Recent or new graduate with a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science preferred
Experience with military aircraft maintenance or logistics experience is a plus
Experience with logistics supply support is a plus
3.4 GPA or higher
