Logistics Manager – ANDSF Logistics & Sustainment Program
IDS International is building a winning team to assist the Afghanistan National Defense Security Forces (ANDSF) Logistics and Sustainment effort. The program focuses on building organizational capacity and capability at all levels for a self-sustaining national security environment for the Afghan staff. It plays an integral part of the overall security assistance effort by providing skill sets and experience levels. This program synchronizes development of managerial and operational systems necessary for success. This assistance helps develop the core management and operational systems essential to enable the Afghans to independently and effectively plan, program, and manage their national army and Police forces.
IDS International is seeking a Logistics Manager to support the ANDSF Logistics and Sustainment Program in Afghanistan. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for establishing a methodology and practices for effective delivery of equipment and supplies for overall management and coordination of logistics procurement and delivery programs in accordance with contract and task order requirements for a program in Afghanistan.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience on projects of similar size and scope in the last five years is required.
Regional experience as well as experience managing subcontractors in a threat environment is also desirable.
Three years logistics contingency support experience is required.
Three years of life cycle logistics experience.
Familiarity with U.S. Government supply chain management standards is required.
Logistics and fiscal experience at the strategic level.
