Description

Job Title: UAS Operator/Maintainer
Education Required: High School Graduate; Formal Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Training
Education Desired: Associates Degree; FAA Ground School completion
Skills Required: Flight experience and be qualified on one or more of the following unmanned aircraft systems (UAS): Wasp III, Raven B, Puma AE, ScanEagle Aerosonde, Silver Fox or any UAS. Valid FAA Class II Flight/medical certificate.
Position Description:
As an Operator/Maintainer, your duties and responsibilities include maintaining safe and positive control of the aircraft during all phases of flight, following air traffic control clearances, taking appropriate actions during emergencies, and ensuring all UAS equipment functions properly and is maintained in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) guidelines, information, and procedures.
Position Requirements:
UAS operator experience is required
2- 5 Years’ experience required
Basic computer skills are required
Must communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Strong organizational skills are necessary
Current Active Secret Clearance
FAA CLASS 2 Flight physical prior to arrival
Current Passport
Valid State issued ID/ Drivers license
Duties: Deployed position in Afghanistan for approx. 3-6 months, maybe longer. Living conditions may be located in an austere location with minimum accommodations
Security Clearance: US Secret, with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI-Eligible
Security Clearance Statement: *Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, BOSH Global Services will only consider applicants with security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
