PAE is currently seeking a Facility and Supply Managerto support the Operation of the US Supply Depot in Sierra Leone.

The Facility and Supply Manager will:
  • Foster professional relations with local, offshore vendors, governmental and non-governmental agencies.
  • Maintain adequate levels of supplies, spares and equipment.
  • Perform unannounced spot checks and/or inventories.
  • Provide quality materials, control costs and stay within approved budget limits.
  • Provide support in obtaining the necessary supplies, services or equipment for special projects.
  • Enforce policies and procedures for strict accountability.
  • Maintain clear and concise property book records for accountability.
  • Maintain a current inventory of current USG assets and perform on the spot inventory checks to ascertain accountability.
  • Conduct a documented 100% inventory at least quarterly.
  • Receive issue and be accountable for fuels and lubricants.
  • Enforce Hazmat policies to prevent spills while safeguarding life and property.
  • Supervise and manage a diverse team including local staff members.
  • Track supplies and shipments from date ordered until received in the system.
  • Coordinate the clearing of goods ordered with the US Embassy and local government.
  • Represent PAE and provide a positive image as a US Government contractor.
  • Liaise with members of the regional military contingents in connection with Training related activities.
  • Provide supervision for USG assets within the Section to include when assets are deployed in support of training efforts.
  • Provide Managerial and Technical Guidance for the operation and maintenance of systems in Support of Training and as Directed by the USG.
  • Supervise, deploy and provide technical support during Field Training Exercises in support of the Depot throughout the Sub Region.
  • Maintain accountability and Tracking of spare parts that are requested, received and the unserviceable items replaced until released from inventory.
  • Provide constant remedial training for employees within the section on supply operations procedures to enhance daily operations and ultimately build cohesion within the section and the depot.
  • Travel on short notice and, at times, live under rigorous field conditions.
  • Performs other functions as maybe tasked by the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply and facility management including procurement and logistics is required.
  • Prior experience in African Operations, and Maintaining Accountability of Major End Items, Tools and Equipment is required.
  • Must be have excellent computer applications experience (Microsoft Word/Excel).
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills are required.
  • Computer experience in spread sheets for supply tracking is required.
  • Experience Local Procurement/Sourcing and Inventory Controls are required
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, in both written and oral English.
  • Must be able to work with all levels of staff, and clients, fostering respectful professional
    relationships.
  • Must be task oriented and be able to work and operate independently in a demanding and challenging environment, with the ability to supervise all aspects of the section and provide 24/7 services.
  • Must possess the ability and experience to source and manage the areas under their responsibility in accordance with the guidelines provided by the US Government, PAE and the Host Nation.
  • Must be able to supervise facility functions, to include carpentry, plumbing, masonry, wastewater management and water purification.
  • Willingness and ability to live and work in remote and austere field environments is required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening process to include background check and drug screen is required.
  • Knowledge in the repair and operations of computer systems is preferred.
  • A well-motivated individual, as the hours are long and hard. The hostile weather conditions factors must be taken in to consideration.
  • Able to live in tented accommodations in a remote location.
