Job Summary:

Our candidate must be experienced with and have a thorough understanding of the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS), specifically the 7 January 2015 Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Acquisition System Instruction 5000.02, the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction (CJCS) 3170.01 I dated 23 January 2015, and the 12 February 2015 JCIDS Manual. Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate can expect to assist the customer in staffing, coordinating and assembling comments on JCIDS and related Acquisition products. Candidate will enter, review and maintain information in the DAMO-CI knowledge management system (KMS). Candidate will also communicate status of requirements through the requirement approval process. Candidate will perform mission analysis of potential requirements, prepare and brief requirement approval documents to the customer.Candidate will also support portfolio development and reviews. Candidate can expect to track and advise on portfolio utilization. Candidate will also capture and prepare executive summaries of proceedings.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Experience working with Department of the Army and Department of Defense customers

Retired Army Officer or DA Civilian with experience in developing, drafting, staffing, and reviewing service policies and other key guidance documents

Experience in major command HQ, Service HQ, Joint Staff or CINC staff desired

Experience in Planning, Programming, and Budgeting activities and Integrated Products Teams

Knowledge of Army and national defense requirements and apply that knowledge to the analysis

Joint and/or Combatant Command background and ability to apply that knowledge

Involvement in military studies and/or analysis of complex military systems or programs


Additional Position Information:
Experience required for this position includes five (5) years of intensive and progressive analytical experience demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to task. The education requirement may be substituted with 10 years of intensive and progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to task. Experience with the military is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in systems
management, engineering, mathematics or scientific related field or in business administration.


Strong administrative and computing skills with emphasis on collaboration technologies and tools. work flows, Internet browsers, and Microsoft Office tools including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project.

Strong interpersonal and service oriented skills.

Excellent writing and editing skills, ability to communicate and interface with communities officials, government offices and senior officials and Army customers, prioritize and multi-task, attention to detail with follow through skills.

Secret Clearance required.
