NEK Services, Inc. is seeking a Range Manager to work for the
Tactical Exercise Support Branch (TESB) on the Training Support Center
(TSC)-Camp Buehring Udairi Range Complex in Kuwait. The Range Manager
will overall be responsible for providing/maintaining customer service
in terms of establishing customer accounts, loan-out of Multi-integrated
Laser Engagement System (MILES) equipment, simulators, the MILES
and simulators training/contact team, loan of training devices (TADSS), device fabrication shop, sign and paint shop, loan of target lifters and range support equipment, target issue and turn-in and range support maintenance and maintenance contact teams.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide range support services & equipment to local units and deployed units throughout CENTCOM AOR.

Maintain/issue/account for deployable range packets, target lifting devices, screening panels, field markers, bore sight panels, and a wide variety of paper targets.

Schedule and oversee both in-house and contact team target lifter maintenance

Provide operator-level training for range support equipment.
Required Job Qualifications:
- As a Senior Contractor representative performing the support integration function, should have a minimum of one year logistics planning staff (G4/S4) experience at brigade level or higher.
- Knowledgeable in military operational and logistical principles and practices and able to apply these with sound judgment, while working through sustained periods of stressful and highly dynamic situations and various environments.
- Possess well-developed arithmetic, data computation, reasoning, and sound judgmental skills, and be capable of using them in a fluid, high stress operating environment.
- Highly-developed writing skills and be capable of developing clear, concise, comprehensive plans and procedures for integrating multi-functional support in coordination with Contractor and Government Staff agencies and other activities.
- Capable of preparing and presenting military briefings.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Highly proficient in reading and using a map, giving and accepting directions in topographical terms, and in communicating map information with other members of the Contractor’s Operations Team, ASG-KU, and all supported units.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance or interim security clearance at contract performance start date and maintain these clearances throughout the period of contract performance.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Obtain a Kuwait driver’s license: Complete the ASG-KU driver’s training course within 30 days of arrival in Kuwait.
- Obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Be physically capable of lifting 75 pounds a vertical distance of four feet and carrying this weight a horizontal distance of 25 feet. Able to work under conditions of extreme heat for an extended period of time.
- Master Gunner proficient in Tank or Bradley tasks.
- Background and understanding of U.S. Army operations and logistics with emphasis on brigade level exercises. A minimum of three years of military logistics experience in the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force or with U.S. Allies is highly desirable.
