The SFDF Experimentation CONOP Writer Military Analyst is responsible for accomplishing the following tasks:
• Generate concept of the operations
• Organizing, leading, staffing and integrating all product information in support of the experimental process of future capabilities within the SFDF-ICDT construct;
• Assisting in Materiel Fire Team initiatives and liaison with other Fire Teams to develop recommendations for the Squad Investment Strategy of capabilities
• Providing analytical support to TCM-S for the Core, Ground, Air, Mounted Soldier Systems, Soldier Enhancement Program and Rapid Fielding Initiative
• Identify and support SFDF I/KM stakeholders who have a right to SFDF information.
Job Summary :
The Army is focused on the Squad as the Foundation of the Decisive Force (SFDF). The SFDF Experimentation CONOP Writer Military Analyst supports the Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (CDID), Soldier Division (SD) and TCM - Soldier (TCM-S), and serves as experimentation capability developer and CONOP writer, supporting the planning, preparation, and execution of the SFDF Program. To thoroughly enable and improve the Squad, the Army will develop and implement a plan that unites capabilities in a holistic manner, while developing capabilities that provide combat overmatch. Overmatch is the ability to execute critical tasks in all environments and achieve the operational objective by dominating the battlefield against a similarly sized opponent, regardless of time, place or conditions. To enable this, the Army is taking a bottom-up approach to organizing requirements and capabilities needed to dominate the current and future fights.

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 0-3 years’ experience. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combat arms experience of 8 years
• Combat Arms (Infantry/Armor) Senior NCO
• Secret Clearance (required)
• Experience writing CONOP and doctrine development
• Experience with experimentation, simulations and modeling
• Ability to organize and manage information from multiple sources as CONOP reference material
• Ability to prepare and coordinate requirements, decision papers, fact sheets, information papers and briefing slides
• Excellent analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to develop CONOP that support the SFDF program.
• Outstanding oral and written skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and information management utilizing Army/DoD systems
• Able to travel (CONUS or OCONUS) requires current U.S. Passport.
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Background in Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
• Background in doctrine writing

The business units work supports primarily the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. We support our clients with a work force of over 2600 Serco and Serco subcontractor employees and provide mission critical support services that primarily support Immigration, Visa Processing and Commerce.
