Primary Purpose:
Responsible for preparation of fully compliant and competitive cost and pricing data in support of pricing proposal volume submittal, development of comprehensive basis of estimates and cost/price narratives and ensuring management review of all estimates and complex pricing proposal data. Will provide direct support to assigned business units.
Essential Functions:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting required. Progressive pricing and cost estimating experience in Government contracting preferred. Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Office and basic working knowledge and skills using MS Access. DelTek/CostPoint and Cognos experience strongly preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion. Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Working Conditions:
Work is based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00, however frequent extended or weekend hours may be required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.

- Thoroughly review RFP/RFQ and identify pricing requirements, material and labor resources.
- Develop and implement various pricing models to support FP, CP, T&M, IDIQ, LOE, or any hybrid contract type combination.
- Develop labor rates based on given labor mix, period of performance and work site location (CONUS/OCONUS).
- Coordinate/interact with capture and proposal team.
- Pricing lead for assigned Business Unit(s) pricing support.
- Participate in price-to-win strategy development using "what if" scenarios
- Adhere to proposal due date timeline and ensure data is reviewed and approved by direct management.
- Provide mentorship and training to other pricing personnel when required
- Perform quality, mathematical and logic checks on all estimates and pricing proposal calculations.
- Develop a comprehensive Basis of Estimate to substantiate and support all proposed costing and pricing.
- Interact with internal clients. Must exercise discretion and use sound judgment in support of pricing matters.
- Elevate all pricing issues to direct manager in a timely manner and coordinate resolution.
- Support the Pricing team in development and implementation of standard pricing policies, procedures, methodologies, and tools.
- Ensure lessons learned are identified, documented and considered when developing all pricing models and strategies.
- Other duties as assigned.
