Job Description
ARMY 12B (Combat Engineer) IED and cultural awareness technical instructor. Will work as a member of a functional team on the design, development and delivery of specialized training for operation in foreign environments where cultural understanding is critical to overall success of the mission(s).


- Secret Clearance
- Graduate of ARMY 12B (Combat Engineer) MOS producing course or equivalent sister service course.
- Graduated from and Certified by an MCoE CIED training course and / or Fort Leonard Wood CIED training course since 2010.
- Trained and qualified to perform IED Effects Simulator (IEDES) training
- Graduate of Army Senior Leader Course (SLC) or sister service equivilent
- Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) graduate or sister service equivilent within the last 10 years
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Sound basic computer skills

Required Experience:
- Route clearance experience in support of Operation New Dawn or Operation Enduring Freedom after 2010 and /or sister service equivalent and /or similar experience including assignment to an organization in which personnel executed CIED operations.
- 3-5 years of significant first-hand, overseas contingency operations experience in regions of cultural and operational interest (Asia, Africa, Latin America)
- Military veteran with recent off-the -Forward Operating Base (FOB) deployment experience in regions of cultures of interest ((Asia, Africa, Latin America)) within the last five years in specialties such as: psychological operations, civilian affairs, linguist, Combat Arms, and / or Military Intelligence.
- Experience as an Military instructor and / or instructional developer conducting CIED training
