The Office of Security Cooperation’s (OSC-I) mission is to continue the security assistance and maintain a cooperative relationship with Iraq to assist the Government of Iraq with advising, training, assisting and equipping their security forces.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Liaison Officer will be located at the CENTCOM Deployment & Distribution Operations Center (CDDOC) in Kuwait and will provide assistance on transportation issues within the CENTCOM AOR.
REQUIREMENTS
Army centric transportation liaison experience
MAJCOM or COCOM staff officer experience
Executive level briefing and writing skills
Mobility centric; understands 1 TSC, ARCENT and SDDC
Experience with foreign military sales (FMS); FMS case management a plus
Understands the requirements for Title 22 vs Title 10
Assist in resolving USASOC – MNL issues
Understands levy exemption waivers, customs exemptions
Experience processing diplomatic clearances and HAZMAT declarations
Understands/actions CENTCOM staff officer package process and the tasker process
Able to travel to sea port to track down frustrated cargo
Valid US tourist passport
Secret level clearance

• Office Type Environment with Temperature Control. May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. General office environment.
Team Members on task (CONUS and OCONUS assignments, some travel):
• Specific vision abilities required by the job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Team Members deployed to a combat zone must be physically able to live in austere conditions during off duty time that may include extremes in temperature, noise, and must not have any medical conditions that require access to uninterrupted power sources.
• Team Members deployed to a combat zone will be subject to hazardous conditions which may require them to wear a kevlar helmet, individual body armor and/or wear a gas mask for extended periods of time.
