Military Freefall Instructor – Training Specialist (Job Number:312141)
Description:
SAIC’s Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Group, Mission Support Business Unit, actively seeks a Military Freefall Instructor to support operations in Ft. Huachuca, AZ and Ft. Bragg, NC.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates MUST be MFF Instructor Qualified.
The successful candidate will be one of 14 CE senior instructors supporting Basic and Advanced Military Free-Fall (MFF) training for an Army Tier one unit. Upon activation, the candidate will travel to Tucson, Arizona or Fort Bragg, North Carolina to join client representatives, other CE instructors and organization students and will present training as required by the client, at locations designated by the client. This is a part-time, on call role. The typical course ranges from two to three weeks in duration, training eight hours per day, and seven days per week.
Qualifications:
Must have served in the US Military.
Must have held the following ratings at a minimum:
Static Line Parachutist; Static Line Jumpmaster; Military Freefall Parachutist; Military Freefall Jumpmaster; Military Freefall Instructor (or Accelerated Freefall Instructor (AFFI) a United States Parachute Association (USPA) rating).
Must be a current USPA Member and Instructor.
Must have a current Physical Examination (Flight Physical or equivalent).
Must be willing to undergo Drug Screening.
Must have a current High Altitude Physical (HAP) card.
Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Must have performed instructor duties at a Joint MFF Basic/Tandem Course. Will consider personnel that have been assigned to and worked as MFF instructors at Company B, 2d Battalion, SWCS, (Yuma, AZ) that meet all other requirements.
Must agree to use approved MFF equipment while working. No sub 150 sq ft canopies; must have approved automatic activation device (AAD). Client can provide all jump gear (parachutes, helmet, and altimeter).
Must have interim Secret clearance or higher
10+ years of similar experience.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
AFFI Evaluator.
Tandem Master.
Tandem Instructor/Examiner.
The ability to shoot video.
Military Rigger.
