Engineer LEAD

Location: Aberdeen, MD, US
ENGINEER, LEAD (67966)
Security Clearance: TS/SCI
Clearance Status: Must be Obtainable
Schedule: Full Time
Type of Travel: Outside Continental US
Percent of Travel Required: Up to 50%

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tune/Align, test, troubleshoot and repair RF subsystem assemblies.
- Use system block diagrams, electrical schematics, and automated and manual test procedures to analyze, test, debug and repair RF and microwave circuits and systems.
- Provide experience in service and repair of RF and DC troubleshooting, test equipment, and RF test fixtures.
- Provide experience in testing RF, analog, and digital circuits.
- Provide experience in using various types of test equipment, including Oscilloscopes, Digital Multi-meters, Spectrum Analyzers, and RF Signal Generators.
- Provide onsite support in OCONUS locations for 6 months. Locations consist of Afghanistan Captured Material Exploitation (ACME) and other WTI locations.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to identify and understand component part level items on printed circuit boards.

- Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers or volt meters, as well as other electronic test equipment used to identify the characteristics of a printed circuit board.
- Experience in writing technical test reports, test procedures, and assembly procedures.
- Experience with the RF spectrum.
- Current Secret or higher security clearance; TS/SCI security clearance must be obtainable.
- Experience with OCONUS travel to Afghanistan Captured Material Exploitation (ACME) and other WTI locations.

- Current TS/SCI security clearance

Education and Experience:

Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience.

Physical Demands:

- Normal demands associated with an office environment.

- Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face.

- Some travel may be required.
